From Analog to Digital Radio Management: The New Radio and New Media [PDF]
The new technologic developments have changed traditional media in different ways. New media which has been created by the new technologic developments has created new forms of distribution. Radio is one of the media which has been affected by new media.

Joint Resource Allocation and Packet Scheduling for eMBB/URLLC Coexistence in 5G NR Systems
Enabling efficient traffic coexistence between ultra-reliable low-latency (URLLC) and enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) services at the 5G New Radio (NR) air interface using the concept of network slicing requires careful tuning of session and medium ...

Delay and Utilization Analysis of Roadside 5G NR IAB Deployments With Half-Duplex Constraints
The standardized 3GPP integrated access and backhaul (IAB) technology is expected to provide a cost-efficient densification of 5G New Radio access networks. Relying on multi-hop communications, one of the critical metrics in such a system is latency.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
