Fair curve designing by Said-Ball curve.
Fair curves are visually alluring curves and are free of unnecessary design features. A new curve designing method is introduced using the tangential continuous rational cubic Said-Ball curve.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Repeat measurement surveys of tree size are used in forests to estimate growth behaviour, biomass and population dynamics. Although size is measured with error and individuals vary in their growth trajectories, current size‐based growth modelling ...

Sequential Parameter Estimation of Time-Varying Non-Gaussian Autoregressive Processes
Parameter estimation of time-varying non-Gaussian autoregressive processes can be a highly nonlinear problem. The problem gets even more difficult if the functional form of the time variation of the process parameters is unknown.

Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

Identification of the plant mitochondrial OrfX protein: A mass spectrometry approach
The mitochondrial genome of plants contains an open reading frame, orfx, which encodes a rare protein that has so far escaped mass spectrometric detection. The protein resembles the c‐subunit of bacterial twin‐arginine‐motif‐dependent protein translocases (TatC).

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

A new approach to register variation: the missing link [PDF]
The purpose of this article is to direct the attention of the specialists towards the notion of linguistic register in order to promote new systematic methods of analysing its current span of variation.
