New Zealand Subantarctic Islands, New Zealand
2018The New Zealand Subantarctic Islands consist of five island groups (Snares, Bounty, Antipodes, Auckland, and Campbell) in the Southern Ocean southeast of New Zealand. The Snares and Bounty Island groups are formed of basement granite and metamorphic rocks. The three more southerly groups are of basic volcanic rocks. They have been extensively glaciated.
