Effects of causal beliefs about gout on public views about gout management: A randomized experimental study

Objective Despite well‐described biological causes, the public views unhealthy lifestyle choices as the primary cause of gout. This study investigated how causal beliefs about gout influence the public's views about its management. Methods In a randomized study, 201 members of the public viewed one of two 2‐minute videos about gout.

The Terminal Domains of Collagen‐Like Silk Direct Molecular Interactions and Liquid–Liquid Phase Separation‐Mediated Material Assembly

Terminal domains of recombinant collagen‐like silk regulate hierarchical self‐assembly across molecular and material scales. We show that terminal domains of collagen‐like silk enhance triple‐helix stability and drive liquid–liquid phase separation, enabling reversible formation of fibers and self‐healing films.

ETV2 Mediated Differentiation of Human Pluripotent Stem Cells Results in Functional Endothelial Cells for Engineering Advanced Vascularized Microphysiological Models

A robust method to generate functional human iPSC‐derived endothelial cells using inducible ETV2 expression. These cells self‐organize into stable, lumenized microvascular networks within microfluidic chips, surpassing conventional differentiation methods.

This article presents a novel, ultra‐sparse ultrasound architecture that paves the way for wearable real‐time 3D imaging. By integrating a unique convolutional array with chirped data acquisition, the system achieves high‐resolution volumetric scans at a fraction of the power and hardware complexity.
