Spherical space in the Newtonian limit: The cosmological constant [PDF]
We compute the cosmological constant of a spherical space in the limit of weak gravity. To this end, we use a duality developed by the present authors in a previous work. This duality allows one to treat the Newtonian cosmological fluid as the probability fluid of a single particle in nonrelativistic quantum mechanics.

Hyperbolic space in the Newtonian limit: The cosmological constant [PDF]
In this paper, the cosmological constant and the Boltzmann entropy of a Newtonian Universe filled with a perfect fluid are computed, under the assumption that spatial sections are copies of 3-dimensional hyperbolic space.

Numerical Approach for the Computation of Preliminary Post-Newtonian Corrections for Laser Links in Space [PDF]
Two systems of Earth-centered inertial Newtonian orbital equations for a spherical Earth and three systems of post-Newtonian nonlinear equations, derived from the second post-Newtonian approximation to the Earth Schwarzschild field, are used to carry out

Relativistic and Newtonian κ ‐space–times [PDF]
The deformations of the Galilei algebra and their associated noncommutative Newtonian space–times are investigated. This is done by analyzing the possible nonrelativistic limits of an eleven generator (pseudo)extended κ-Poincaré algebra 𝒫̃κ and their implications for the existence of a first-order differential calculus.

Gravitational Radiation from Post-Newtonian Sources and Inspiralling Compact Binaries
To be observed and analyzed by the network of gravitational wave detectors on ground (LIGO, VIRGO, etc.) and by the future detectors in space (eLISA, etc.), inspiralling compact binaries -- binary star systems composed of neutron stars and/or black holes

The Schroedinger operator in Newtonian space-time [PDF]
The Schroedinger operator on the Newtonian space-time is defined in a way which is independent on the class of inertial observers. In this picture the Schroedinger operator acts not on functions on the space-time but on sections of certain one-dimensional complex vector bundle over space-time.

Post-Newtonian theory for gravitational waves
To be observed and analyzed by the network of current gravitational-wave detectors (LIGO, Virgo, KAGRA), and in anticipation of future third generation ground-based (Einstein Telescope, Cosmic Explorer) and space-borne (LISA) detectors, inspiralling ...

Microrheometer for Biofluidic Analysis: Electronic Detection of the Fluid-Front Advancement
The motivation for this study was to develop a microdevice for the precise rheological characterization of biofluids, especially blood. The method presented was based on the principles of rheometry and fluid mechanics at the microscale.
