C KEdge NEXAFS of 6HSiC and 3CSiC Systems
Physica Scripta, 2005Silicon carbide polytipes 6H-SiC and 3C-SiC were characterized by optical absorption at the C K edge in the near edge absorption region. 3C-SiC and 6H-SiC showed similarities for energies about 15 eV above the edge. Marked differences were found in the near edge region.

A NIXSW and NEXAFS investigation of thiophene on Cu(111)
Surface Science, 1998The local registry and geometry of thiophene at sub-monolayer coverages on Cu(111) has been probed with normal incidence X-ray standing wavefield absorption (NIXSW) and near edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS). Thiophene was found to adopt a flat geometry on the surface with the sulphur atom in an atop position.
