Context-Aware Point-of-Interest Recommendation Based on Similar User Clustering and Tensor Factorization

open access: yesISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, 2023
The rapid development of big data technology and mobile intelligent devices has led to the development of location-based social networks (LBSNs). To understand users’ behavioral patterns and improve the accuracy of location-based services, point-of ...

Joint Triplet Loss Learning for Next New POI Recommendation

open access: yesCoRR, 2022
Sparsity of the User-POI matrix is a well established problem for next POI recommendation, which hinders effective learning of user preferences. Focusing on a more granular extension of the problem, we propose a Joint Triplet Loss Learning (JTLL) module for the Next New ($N^2$) POI recommendation task, which is more challenging.

Better 10‐Year Cerebrovascular Outcome After Transplant Than on Standard‐Care in Sickle Cell Anemia: DREPAGREFFE Trial

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Management of cerebral vasculopathy in sickle cell anemia (SCA) includes standard‐care, that is, chronic transfusion (CT) or hydroxyurea, and hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT). DREPAGREFFE‐1 (December 2010/June 2013), a French multicenter trial, was the first prospective trial comparing standard‐care to match sibling donor (MSD)‐HCT in ...

Environmental Thermoeconomic Performance Analysis of Gas Steam Combined Cycle With Different Inlet Air Cooling Technologies

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This study establishes an environmental thermoeconomic cost model to investigate the impact of two IAC technologies on the performance of a GSCC from three aspects of energy, economy, and environment. Under arid climate conditions, the SEC technology demonstrates superior performance in terms of cost‐effectiveness and environmental impact.

Yield of endocervical curettage in detecting cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 or higher during colposcopy: A prospective, cross‐sectional study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, Volume 169, Issue 1, Page 105-111, April 2025.
Abstract Objective This study assessed the prevalence and factors associated with detecting cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 or higher (CIN2+) via endocervical curettage (ECC) during colposcopy. Methods Between December 2020 and September 2023, a prospective, cross‐sectional study involving women with abnormal cervical cancer screening ...

Generative Next POI Recommendation with Semantic ID

open access: yesProceedings of the 31st ACM SIGKDD Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining V.2
Point-of-interest (POI) recommendation systems aim to predict the next destinations of user based on their preferences and historical check-ins. Existing generative POI recommendation methods usually employ random numeric IDs for POIs, limiting the ability to model semantic relationships between similar locations.

FXTAS and the Spectrum of FMR1 Premutation‐Associated Phenotypes in Latin America: A Scoping Review

open access: yesMovement Disorders Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Fragile X–associated tremor/ataxia syndrome (FXTAS) is a late‐onset neurodegenerative disorder caused by FMR1 premutation expansions (55–200 CGG repeats). Although well described in populations of predominantly European ancestry, FXTAS remains poorly characterized in Latin America due to limited awareness, restricted access to ...
