Proceedings of the 13th international conference on Ubiquitous computing, 2011
This paper presents NFC+, a new approach to ubiquitous mobile media sharing. Data can be instantaneously shared in a fast and secure way between users without the presence of Internet. It uses NFC, which has fast setup time but low bandwidth, to exchange both network settings and the media URI, then programmatically configures wireless interfaces to ...

NFC and NFC payments: A review
2016 International Conference on ICT in Business Industry & Government (ICTBIG), 2016Near Field Communication (NFC) as a form of technology has seen many improvements in recent years due to the increasing availability of NFC enabled devices. It is used for short range communication and based on the existing standards of Radio frequency identification (RFID) infrastructure. Simple and safe bidirectional communication between NFC enabled

NFC Unlock: Secure Two-Factor Computer Authentication Using NFC
2017 IEEE 14th International Conference on Mobile Ad Hoc and Sensor Systems (MASS), 2017Our project, NFC Unlock, implements a secure multifactor authentication system for computers using Near Field Communication technology. The application is written in C# with pGina. It implements an NFC authentication which replaces the standard Windows credentials to allow the use of an NFC tag and a passcode to authenticate the user.

Smartcard based authentication on web services stays a niche application because of the lack of smartcard readers on the vast majority of internet devices. In this paper we discuss a method that uses an NFC-enabled Smartphone in order to login via NFC-enabled smartcard on basically any internet device.
