Magnetoresistance study in Ni–Al–Ni and Al–Ni–Al tunneling junction systems
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2002Abstract Magnetoresistance (MR) in Ni–Al–Ni and Al–Ni–Al tunneling junction systems have been studied at temperatures between 40 mK and 4 K and in magnetic fields up to 3 T. In Ni–Al–Ni system, the resistance increases with increasing applied magnetic field at low fields. This is a typical anisotropy MR for ferromagnetic Ni wire electrodes.

physica status solidi (a), 1982The temperature dependence of certain NiAlTa and NiAlHf superalloys are investigated. From this investigation it is hoped to determine the potentialities of good elevated temperature properties by a solution of tantalum and hafnium, based on the γ′ phase.

Martensitic transformation behavior in Ni–Al and Ni–Al–Re melt-spun ribbons
Scripta Materialia, 2004Abstract The martensitic transformation behavior was investigated in rapidly solidified (melt-spun) Ni–(34–37)at%Al and Ni–(32–34)at%Al–2at%Re ribbons. The addition of Re increased the temperature for the formation of Ni 5 Al 3 , hence the martensitic transformations were observed at higher temperatures than those of binary Ni–Al alloys.

Development of Ni–Al and Ni–Al–Fe intermetallic coatings on carbon tool steels
Surface Engineering, 1997Intennetallic coatings of Ni–Al and Ni–Al–Fe have been developed on carbon tool steel substrates. Nickel coatings with thicknesses of 20 and 40 f.1m were deposited on prealuminised specimens. Diffusion annealing was subsequently carried out at a temperatureof 1050oe.
