Treatment of Idiopathic Membranous Nephropathy for Moderate or Severe Proteinuria: A Systematic Review and Network Meta-Analysis. [PDF]
Objective. Numerous studies have demonstrated that the efficacy of drugs differs in idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) patients with moderate or high proteinuria. However, there is no systematic comparison confirming it. This network meta‐analysis (NMA) was performed to respectively compare the efficacy of ten IMN treatments in patients with ...

Angular-Inertia Regulated Stable and Nanoscale Sensing of Single Molecules Using Nanopore-In-A-Tube. [PDF]
The study develops a nanopore‐in‐a‐tube (NIAT) device that precisely regulates molecule translocation in a funnel‐shaped nanopore by controlling the inertial angle and centrifugation speed in a centrifuge. This ensures stable signal readout with a high signal‐to‐noise ratio, enabling nanoscale sensing of single molecules.

Fkbp5 gene deletion: Circadian rhythm profile and brain proteomics in aged mice. [PDF]
This study investigates the circadian rhythm and proteomic profile of aged FKBP51 knockout mice. The absence of FKBP51 provided protection against stress‐mediated disruptions in circadian rhythms in a sex‐dependent manner. Proteomic changes in these mice showed brain region‐ and sex‐dependent alterations, with elevated levels of proteins like MYCBP2 ...

FKBP51: A Promising Therapeutic Target for Tauopathies [PDF]
Abstract Background Tau accumulation, a hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease, fuels cognitive decline and neuronal death. Our team identified FKBP51, a stabilizer of neurotoxic tau oligomers. Notably, FKBP51 levels increase with age and further in AD brains, where it is found associated with pathological tau.

Background. Primary membranous nephropathy (MN), sometimes referred to as idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN), is a kind of MN whose pathogenesis is yet unclear. According to research reports, the incidence of IMN is about 9.8–26.8%, and it is on the rise. Methods.

Heterogeneous responses to corporate marginal tax rates: Evidence from small and large firms
Summary Do small and large firms respond differently to tax cuts? Using new narrative measures of the exogenous variation in corporate marginal tax rates and a unique dataset of US manufacturing firms, we find that the investment of large firms is more sensitive to a marginal tax cut than that of small firms.

A two‐stage Bayesian network model for corporate bankruptcy prediction
Abstract We develop a Bayesian network (LASSO‐BN) model for firm bankruptcy prediction. We select financial ratios via the Least Absolute Shrinkage Selection Operator (LASSO), establish the BN topology, and estimate model parameters. Our empirical results, based on 32,344 US firms from 1961–2018, show that the LASSO‐BN model outperforms most ...

Topological Descriptors and Polynomials for Analysing the Structure of Antimony Telluride
In a molecular network, molecules are correlated with numerical values, which are referred to as topological indices. The chemical and physical properties of chemical substances can be determined using topological indices. Mathematicians frequently use topological indices to calculate the strain energy, melting point, boiling temperature, distortion ...

Computing Topological Indices and Polynomials of the Rhenium Trioxide
In the study of mathematical chemistry and chemical graph theory, a topological index, also known as a connectivity index, is the arithmetical framework of a graph that specifies its topology and also graph invariant. These topological indices are used to model quantitative structure relationships (QSARs), which are connections between the work of ...

Role of LEAFLESS, an AP2/ERF family transcription factor, in the regulation of trichome specialized metabolism. [PDF]
Summary Acylsugars, specialized metabolites produced by trichomes of many solanaceous species, provide protection against biotic and abiotic stresses. Many acylsugar metabolic enzymes have been identified; however, regulatory factors remain unknown.
