A closer look at Doleac and Mukherjee (2022) and the effects of naloxone access laws on opioid ER admissions
Economic Inquiry, Volume 64, Issue 1, Page 54-87, January 2026.Abstract
In their 2022 study, ‘The Effects of Naloxone Access Laws on Opioid Abuse, Mortality, and Crime,’ Doleac and Mukherjee conclude that broadening access to a life‐saving drug—naloxone—does not reduce opioid‐related mortality as the drug simultaneously encourages riskier drug use. I show issues with their data, design, and estimation methods. , 1977 The catalyst formation in the system Ni(acac)2, C3H4, (iBu)3Al was investigated by means of infrared spectroscopy. It was found that the Al(acac)3 and (iBu)2Al(acac) formed are both by-products of catalyst formation without a catalytic activity.Berkel, P.C.J.M. van, Mars, P., Ommen, J.G. van, Ploeg, H.J. van der +3 morecore +3 more sourcesNIBR Summaries 2010

Zoologica Scripta, Volume 55, Issue 1, Page 131-144, January 2026.ABSTRACT
Although three genera of Bythinini are known from East Asia, Bythoxenites Jeannel, Bryaxis Kugelann and Tychobythinus Ganglbauer, only Bryaxis has been reported in Korea, and no phylogenetic research has been conducted. We report new records of the genus Tychobythinus in Korea and describe T. rasiligulus sp. n.Yeon‐Jae Choi, Christopher E. AIChE Journal, Volume 71, Issue 12, December 2025.Abstract
In this study, various adsorption models using neural networks were developed and integrated into a mechanistic chromatography transport model, resulting in hybrid models. A systematic screening of 10 different hybrid model structures was performed to find the optimal balance between mechanistic and data‐driven components in modeling ...Jesper Frandsen, Vinicius V.
