Robotic Materials With Bioinspired Microstructures for High Sensitivity and Fast Actuation
In the review paper, design rationale and approaches for bioinspired sensors and actuators in robotics applications are presented. These bioinspired microstructure strategies implemented in both can improve the performance in several ways. Also, recent ideas and innovations that embed robotic materials with logic and computation with it are part of the

Niche enlargement as a consequence of co-existence: a case study
Spatio-temporal changes in the diet, niche breadth and niche overlap of two species of Characidium from three different sites along a Neotropical coastal stream were studied during a dry and rainy season.

ASSESSING THE RELATIVE INFLUENCES OF ABIOTIC AND BIOTIC FACTORS ON A SPECIES’ DISTRIBUTION USING PSEUDO-ABSENCE AND FUNCTIONAL TRAIT DATA: A CASE STUDY WITH THE AMERICAN EEL (Anguilla rostrata) [PDF]
Species’ distributions are influenced by abiotic and biotic factors but direct comparison of their relative importance is difficult, particularly when working with complex, multi-species datasets. Here, we present a flexible method to compare abiotic and

Immune Predictors of Radiotherapy Outcomes in Cervical Cancer
This study reveals dynamic immune remodeling in cervical cancer following radiotherapy. Single‐cell analysis identifies the C3/C3AR1 axis as a central mediator of epithelial–myeloid crosstalk, whose inhibition reduces treatment efficacy in mice. Guided by these insights, the eight‐feature machine‐learning model: Cervical Cancer Radiotherapy Immune ...

Wedelolactone (WED), a natural TLR2 agonist, promotes neutrophil differentiation and enhances bactericidal function, offering a potential therapeutic strategy for neutropenia. Using a multi‐omics approach, this study reveals that WED activates the TLR2/MEK/ERK pathway, upregulating key transcription factors (PU.1, CEBPβ) to drive neutrophil development.

Niche Overlap Is Not Enough: Same Overlap, Opposite Dynamics
Abstract Niche overlap (NO) is a central concept in coexistence theory, determining the outcome of competitive interactions at equilibrium. Yet, NO is a composite quantity that collapses multiple mechanisms and thus cannot by itself capture community dynamics.

By profiling the spatiotemporal hepatic landscape of CHB mouse models, the originally peri‐portal localized KCs migrated to the peri‐central in a CXCL9‐CXCR3‐dependent manner, facilitating their interaction with HBV+ hepatocytes. The interaction promoted LMD in KCs through ASGR1‐induced LXRα degradation, which, in turn, induced CSC formation via Stat3 ...
