ABSTRACT Flow capacitive deionisation is an advanced electrochemical technology for water purification and energy‐related applications. It represents a viable alternative to conventional desalination methods due to its low operating voltage, continuous electrode regeneration, and stable performance under moderate‐to‐high salinity conditions. The use of

A multifunctional material combining flow field and porous transport layer functions is presented for AEM water electrolysis. The elastic knitted wire mesh interlayer enhances compression distribution, improves catalyst–membrane contact and prevents catalyst layer cracking during operation. The concept supports improved performance and enables scalable,

A Case of Silicone Allergy Induced by a Subcutaneous Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator
A 54‐year‐old man developed a granulomatous lesion 7 months after S‐ICD implantation and generator exposure 6 years later. Negative infection workup and positive patch testing supported silicone‐related hypersensitivity. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of silicone allergy associated with an S‐ICD system.

ABSTRACT Cadmium (Cd2+) contamination in agricultural soils has been reported to pose risks to crop productivity, food safety, and human health. This review synthesizes current knowledge on the mechanisms by which essential (S, Zn, Fe, Mg, K, Ca) and beneficial (Si, Se, rare earth elements) elements mitigate Cd2+ toxicity in plants.
