Revolutionizing endodontics: Advancements in nickel–titanium instrument surfaces
Abstract Nickel–titanium (NiTi) instruments have become the backbone of endodontics due to their exceptional properties, superelasticity, and shape memory. However, challenges such as unexpected breakage, poor cutting efficiency, and corrosion have prompted researchers to explore innovative surface modifications to enhance their performance ...

Microstructural Considerations on the Magnetostriction Enhancement in Dy Doped Fe81Al19 Alloys
Dy additions induce significant microstructural modifications in Fe–Al alloys, evolving from Dy‐rich agglomerates to columnar grains that promote preferential orientation, particularly along the (200) plane. These changes reduce microstrains and modify crystallite shape, leading to enhanced magnetostriction.

Inorganic sonosensitizers suffer from inefficient electron‐hole separation, rapid recombination, and wide bandgaps in anti‐fungal applications. We propose MN@Fe2N/CeO2 to directly eliminate fungi without drug resistance. Combining semiconductor CeO2's advantages with Fe2N's high work function and activity enables efficient Schottky heterojunctions ...

Nickel–Titanium rotary instruments: Development of the single-file systems
Over the past two decades, the nickel-titanium (NiTi) rotary instruments have highly improved the quality of the cleaning and shaping of the root canals. The superelasticity and shape memory of these instruments reduce the possibility of the canal transportation along with saving the time for both the patients and the clinicians.
