Biogeochemical studies on some nickel accumulating plants from New Zealand and New Caledonian serpentine areas : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Chemistry at Massey University [PDF]

open access: yes, 1974
Serpentine areas in New Zealand and New Caledonia are described. A study was made of soil factors controlling the distribution of five species from a serpentine flora in the Dun Mountain area, South Island, New Zealand.

Ionic Metal Poly(heptazine Imides) and Single‐Atoms Interplay: Engineered Stability and Performance for Photocatalysis, Photoelectrocatalysis and Organic Synthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Poly(heptazine) imides (PHIs), a crystalline carbon nitride subclass, intercalate metals to deliver high stability, tunable electronics, and efficient charge separation. These features enable solar‐driven applications such as hydrogen evolution, CO₂ reduction, and organic synthesis.

Experimental and Theoretical Confirmation of Covalent Bonding in α‐Pu

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
From a combination of Reverse Monte Carlo dynamic rigid body fitting to the pair distribution functional and novel density functional approaches, the existence of covalent bonding is confirmed in α‐plutonium alongside other bonding types (i.e. mixed bonding schemes).

Determining thermal conductivity of lateritic ores from Hot-Ball method

open access: yesMinería y Geología, 2019
The thermal conductivity of lateritic ores was determined by using the transitory commonly known Hot- Ball method. An experimental facility was built and an experimental design was used for analyzing the property performance for three temperature values.

Atomic Size Misfit for Electrocatalytic Small Molecule Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review explores the application and mechanisms of atomic size misfit in catalysis for small molecule activation, focusing on how structural defects and electronic properties can effectively lower the energy barriers of chemical bonds in molecules like H2O, CO2, and N2.

Research Status of Resource Utilization and Sulfidation Roasting Technology of a Low-grade Nickel Sulfide Ore

open access: yesKuangchan zonghe liyong
The reserves of nickel ore resources are rich in China, mainly nickel sulfide. With the continuous exploitation of the high-grade nickel sulfide ore with high quality and easy to choose, its reserves and production are decreasing year by year.

Evolution semigroups for nonautonomous Cauchy problems

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 1997
In this paper, we characterize wellposedness of nonautonomous, linear Cauchy problems (NCP)  {u˙(t)=A(t)u(t)u(s)=x∈X on a Banach space X by the existence of certain evolution semigroups.
