Complexation reactions of cobalt(II) and nickel(II) with glycylsarcosine

The Journal of Physical Chemistry, 1969
The kinetics of complexation of cobalt(II) and nickel(II) with glycylsarcosine have been studied at 25° and an ionic strength of 0.1 M using the temperature-jump method. Only the glycylsarcosinate anion is an attacking form of this ligand in the pH range investigated.

π-Allyl Nickelate(II) and Palladate(II) Complexes

Organometallics, 2003
The homoleptic M−π-allyl complexes M(η3-C3H5)2 (M = Ni, Pd) react with LiC3H5 and Li2C4H8 in the presence of tmeda to give the ionic π-allyl nickelates(II) and palladates(II) [Li(tmeda)2]+[(η3-C3H5...

Spectral studies of cobalt(II)- and nickel(II)-metallothionein

Biochemistry, 1981
The zinc and cadmium of native rabbit metallothionein-1 were replaced stoichiometrically with either cobalt (II) or nickel (II). The electronic, magnetic circular dichroic (MCD), and electron spin resonance spectra of Co (II)-metallothionein reflect distorted tetrahedral coordination of the cobalt atoms.

Tetraalkoxyaluminates of Nickel(II), Copper(II), and Copper(I)

Inorganic Chemistry, 2008
The syntheses and structural details of tetraisopropoxyaluminates and tetra-tert-butoxyaluminates of nickel(II), copper(I), and copper(II) are reported. Within the nickel series, either Ni[Al(OiPr)4]2.2HOiPr, with nickel(II) in a distorted octahedral oxygen environment, or Ni[Al(OiPr)4]2.py, with nickel(II) in a square-pyramidal O4N coordination sphere,

Complexes of 2-aminobenzothiazole with cobalt(II) and nickel(II)

Journal of the Chemical Society A: Inorganic, Physical, Theoretical, 1970
Abstract The preparation is reported of some complexes of 2-aminobenzoxazole (ABOX) of the type: M(ABOX)2X2 (M = Co; X = Cl, Br, I, NCS, CH3COO; M = Ni; X = I), Ni(ABOX)X2 (X = Cl, Br) and [Et4N] [M(ABOX)X3] (M = Co; X = Cl, Br; M = Ni; X = Br; Et4N = tetraethylammonium ion).

Conformational Flexibility of Nickel(II) Benziporphyrins

Inorganic Chemistry, 2004
(1)H NMR spectra of three paramagnetic Ni(II) complexes of benziporphyrins have been investigated in a broad temperature range. For the m- and p-benziporphyrin complexes, the line widths of certain signals exhibit an unusual temperature dependence characteristic of a dynamic process.

Exchange interactions in copper(II)-nickel(II) and nickel(II)-nickel(II) pairs in tetra(.mu.-benzoato-O,O')bis(quinoline)dimetal(II) complexes

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1980
Tetra(pbenzoat0-O,O')bis(quinoline)dinickel(II) was prepared and found to be isomorphous to the copper(I1) and cobalt(I1) complexes previously described. The structure is similar to that of the copper acetate dimer, and the magnetic susceptibility data show an antiferromagnetic coupling, J = -250 cm-l.
