Screening Positive for Rare Autosomal Aneuploidies Increases Frequency of Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes and Alters Clinical Management

open access: yesPrenatal Diagnosis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Outcomes in pregnancies with rare autosomal aneuploidies (RAAs) are poorly characterized, with most studies having small sample sizes. Here, we describe outcomes and management in a large cohort of pregnancies that screened positive for an RAA (RAA+).

Strategic Modulation of CO Intermediate Desorption Dynamics on Bimetallic NixCuy@NC Catalyst: Synergistic Electrocatalysis for Sustainable CO2 Conversion

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A bimetallic catalyst is obtained by one‐step carbonization of in situ loaded NiCuPPc@g‐C3N4. Introducing a secondary active component can modulate the electronic structure of the primary catalyst by downshifting its d‐band center position, significantly lowering the CO desorption energy barrier.

Nanoarchitecturing of Bimetallic Metal‒Organic Frameworks for Emerging Applications in Quartz Crystal Microbalance Gas Sensors

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
This review summarizes recent progress in the design and nanoarchitectural control of bimetallic metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) and their applications in quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) sensors for the detection of various gases. It also discusses the underlying sensing mechanisms of bimetallic MOFs and concludes with challenges and future ...

Fabrication of Microneedles by Pulsating In Situ Dried Electrostretching for Transdermal Drug Delivery

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
The pulsating in situ dried electrostretching (PIDES) technique offers a novel approach to microneedles fabrication for transdermal drug delivery utilizing electrohydrodynamic principles. PIDES is capable of fabricating biodegradable polymeric microneedles with geometric and mechanical properties suitable for skin penetration. Drug loading and in vitro
