Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 1978
We present a review of 42 cases of hypospadias seen at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria from 1969 to 1977. The incidence was low. No family history of hypospadias was noted in any of these patients. Fifty-seven percent had associated anomalies--mostly of the genitourinary system.

Summary 640 cases of tuberculosis came to autopsy at the Pathology Department, Lagos, during the years 1945–1952. The outstanding factor was the large number of cases showing involvement of the regional lymph glands and the poor resistance shown by the majority of subjects.

This paper seeks to establish that measles is one of the major hazards of childhood in West Africa. At present measles in tropical Africa does not run the same course as in Europe and North America. Experience of the disease there is similar to that of doctors who wrote on measles in Europe a hundred years ago.
