On the Nilpotent Graph of a finite Group
If G is a non-nilpotent group and nil(G) = {g \in G : is nilpotent for all h\in G}, the nilpotent graph of G is the graph with set of vertices G-nil(G) in which two distinct vertices are related if they generate a nilpotent subgroup of G.

Lie groups as permutation groups: Ulam's problem in the nilpotent case
Ulam asked whether every connected Lie group can be represented on a countable structure. This is known in the linear case. We establish it for the first family of non-linear groups, namely in the nilpotent case.

We give necessary and sufficient conditions under which an amalgamated free product of finitely generated nilpotent groups is a Howson group (that is the intersection of any two finitely generated subgroups is finitely generated). Also we prove that if G
