Extension of the single-event microkinetic model to alkyl substituted monoaromatics hydrogenation on a Pt catalyst [PDF]
The Single-Event Micro Kinetic (SEMK) methodology, which had been successfully applied to benzene hydrogenation on a Pt catalyst, has now been extended toward substituted monoaromatics, that is, toluene and o-xylene.

Bimetallic Nanoparticles as a Model System for an Industrial NiMo Catalyst [PDF]
An in-depth understanding of the reaction mechanism is required for the further development of Mo-based catalysts for biobased feedstocks. However, fundamental studies of industrial catalysts are challenging, and simplified systems are often used without direct comparison to their industrial counterparts.

Rounded TiO2 nanoparticles we sucesfully synthesized with modulated sizes from 109 to 22 nm. We observed the WS2 and NiWS active phases forming parallel slabs to the surface. The presence of Ni helped W to be better dispersed, especially on the smallest nanoparticles, which resulted in the highest activity detected among the series.

This graphical abstract illustrates an integrated electrocatalytic refining system designed for sustainable chemical and fuel production. At its core, the Biomass Oxidation Reaction (BOR) replaces conventional water oxidation at the anode. It is coupled with various cathodic reactions, such as the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER), CO2 Reduction (CO2RR)
