Proceedings, annual meeting, Electron Microscopy Society of America, 1976It has been demonstrated previously that there are variations in the histochemical staining of the acinar cells in the submandibular gland of the armadillo (1). This suggested that the gland may be composed of several lobes, each of which contains different acinar cells.
