Temperature-frequency scaling in amorphous niobium-silicon near the metal-insulator transition
Millimeter-wave transmission measurements have been performed in amorphous niobium-silicon alloy samples where the DC conductivity follows the critical temperature dependence $\sigma_{dc} \propto T^{1/2}$. The real part of the conductivity is obtained at

4D Printing of Self‐Immolative Polymers
The integration of self‐immolative polymers (SIPs) into light‐based 3D printed structures is presented as a new “living” 4D printing strategy. By exploiting their metastability and stimuli‐responsiveness, SIP‐containing printed objects can undergo rapid and triggered degrowth under ambient conditions and subsequent regrowth through polymer ...

It is shown that interfaces between organic and inorganic layers govern long‐range stacking disorder and in‐plane anisotropy in 2D metal‐halide perovskites. By comparing single‐cation AB‐AB and ordered mixed‐cation ABCD‐ABCD stackings, SCXRD reveals enhanced mosaicity, while optics confirm high birefringence.

Superconducting properties of niobium after electron beam welding
One of the major criteria for designing superconducting niobium resonant cavities is to minimize the peak surface electric and magnetic fields to maximize the achievable accelerating electric gradient.

Electron–Matter Interactions During Electron Beam Nanopatterning
This article reviews the electron–matter interactions important to nanopatterning with electron beam lithography (EBL). Electron–matter interactions, including secondary electron generation routes, polymer radiolysis, and electron beam induced charging, are discussed.

SI‐bioATRP in Mesoporous Silica for Size‐Exclusion Driven Local Polymer Placement
An enzyme‐catalyzed surface‐initiated atom transfer radical polymerization (SI‐bioATRP) of an anionic monomer within mesoporous silica particles, using hemoglobin as a catalyst, allows for controlling the location of the formed polymer via size‐exclusion effects between the nanopores and the biomacromolecules, thereby opening routes to functional ...

A modular biosynthetic PVA–gelatin hydrogel crosslinked via visible‐light thiol‐ene chemistry is engineered as a coating for neural electrodes. Optimizing matrix composition and mechanical properties enables the hydrogel to support astrocytic populations that guide neural differentiation and functional maturation.

Systematic improvements in transmon qubit coherence enabled by niobium surface encapsulation
We present a transmon qubit fabrication technique that yields systematic improvements in T 1 relaxation times. We encapsulate the surface of niobium and prevent the formation of its lossy surface oxide.
