Surface tension of thallium nitrate and the binary mixtures thallium nitrate-lithium nitrate and thallium nitrate-potassium nitrate

Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data, 1977
The surface tension of molten TlNO/sub 3/ has been measured over the temperature range 220-350 /sup 0/C, using the maximum bubble pressure method. We have also measured the surface tension of the binary mixtures TlNO/sub 3/-LiNO/sub 3/ and TlNO/sub 3/-KNO/sub 3/ at 350 /sup 0/C over the entire composition range. 3 tables, 2 figures.

Assessment of groundwater pollution by nitrates using intrinsic vulnerability methods: A case study of the Nil valley groundwater (Jijel, North-East Algeria)

, 2013
Scientists are deeply concerned with the state of vulnerability of groundwater reservoirs. It is a complex task because of the difficulties in determining the degree of pollution of the ground water.

Ipso Nitration. Regiospecific Nitration via Ipso Nitration Products.

1985
Abstract : Work has been focused on developing efficient methods of preparing 4-alkyl-nitrocyclohexadienones and 4-alkyl-4-nitrocyclohexadienols by batch and flow processes. Detailed studies of the thermal and acid-catalyzed rearrangements of 4-alkyl-4-nitrocyclohexadienones have been made, leading to mechanistic assignments that may have broader ...
