Highly Stable Aggregation‐Induced Emission‐Functionalized Histatin1 Coated With Platelet Vesicles for Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
Diabetic wound healing is blocked by persistent inflammation and oxidative stress. Bioactive substances like growth factors and Hsts promote repair but lack long‐term stability. Herein, a platelet membrane‐coated nanoparticle system (PNP) is proposed to achieve enhanced retention of aggregation‐induced emissive (AIE) molecular‐modified Hst1 (Hst1‐AIE ...

4D Printing of Polyethylene Glycol‐Grafted Carbon Nanotube‐Reinforced Polyvinyl Chloride–Polycaprolactone Composites for Enhanced Shape Recovery and Thermomechanical Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study introduces polyethylene glycol‐functionalized carbon nanotubes (CNTs) to enhance dispersion, interfacial bonding, and 4D printability in polyvinyl chloride‐PCL nanocomposites. The optimized 4D composite (0.5 wt% CNT) achieves a 25% increase in tensile strength, 95.78% shape fixity, and 5‐s recovery time.

A Novel Merocyanine Derivative for Probing Polarity at Cubosome Interfaces

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
This study develops a synthetic route to C10SP, a polarity‐sensitive sensor embedded in phytantriol‐based cubosomes. Strategic steps included tertiary amine‐mediated amidation to covalently attach a hydrophobic tail and controlled nitrogen methylation to form the iminium moiety within the indolenine scaffold.

Ammonia and Nitric Acid Demands for Fertilizer Use in 2050

ACS Energy Letters, 2021
: Access to nitrogen-based fertilizers is critical to maximize agricultural yield, as nitrogen is the most common rate-limiting nutrient. Nearly all nitrogen-based fertilizers rely on ammonia and nitric acid as feedstocks, and thus the demand for these ...

Electrochemical Synthesis of Nitric Acid from Nitrogen Oxidation.

Angewandte Chemie, 2021
Nitric acid has been widely applied in agriculture and industries. The present manufacturing process via a combination of the Haber-Bosch process and the Ostwald oxidation process is accompanied by massive energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
