Electrochemical Dehydration of Carboxamides to Their Nitriles
Electrochemical dehydration of carboxamides to nitriles is achieved using thiocyanate‐mediated activation, avoiding stoichiometric reagents. In an undivided cell at ambient conditions, 18 aromatic and aliphatic substrates give good‐to‐excellent yields (up to 84%) with functional‐group tolerance. Cyclic voltammetry supports an EC‐type‐mediated oxidation.

A General Platform for the Light‐Enabled Generation of α‐Fluoro Radicals Leveraging Simple Additives
A catalyst‐free, visible‐light protocol enables mild generation of α‐fluoro radicals from α‐halo fluorinated precursors using sodium iodide and 2,6‐lutidine. In situ halide exchange and C–I homolysis afford broad access to fluorinated esters, sulphones, and nitriles via coupling with diverse partners.

Indole‐Based π‐Extended Monophosphine Ligands for Enhanced Palladium‐Catalyzed Sonogashira Coupling
A general palladium‐catalyzed Sonogashira cross‐coupling of (hetero)aryl chlorides with aliphatic, (hetero)aryl alkynes is described using Pd(dba)₂/PCy2‐Napdole‐phos catalyst system. The reaction protocol exhibits broad substrate scope and the catalyst loading can be down to 0.2 mol% Pd.
