Muonium addition to sulfur-nitrogen chains
The first example of muonium addition to a sulfur-nitrogen double bond is reported. An ab initio calculation is used to assign the muon addition site as the nitrogen end of the double bond. The observed hyperfine coupling is 90.7 MHz. Copyright (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Responses of ecosystem nitrogen cycle to nitrogen addition: a meta‐analysis [PDF]
• Anthropogenic nitrogen (N) addition may substantially alter the terrestrial N cycle. However, a comprehensive understanding of how the ecosystem N cycle responds to external N input remains elusive. • Here, we evaluated the central tendencies of the responses of 15 variables associated with the ecosystem N cycle to N addition, using data extracted ...

An evaluation of weld metal nitrogen retention and properties in 316NL austenitic stainless steel [PDF]
A series of tests were conducted using varying levels of nitrogen and helium in a conventional argon shielding gas when welding 316LN austenitic stainless steel. The outcome was that a 15 per cent nitrogen addition to the argon shielding gas had the most

Two Dominant Herbaceous Species Have Different Plastic Responses to N Addition in a Desert Steppe
Nitrogen (N) deposition rates are increasing in the temperate steppe due to human activities. Understanding the plastic responses of plant dominant species to increased N deposition through the lens of multiple traits is crucial for species selection in ...

Improvement of piezoresistance properties of silicon carbide ceramics through co-doping of aluminum nitride and nitrogen [PDF]
The piezoresistance coefficient was measured on co-doped silicon carbide ceramics. Evaluation samples of alpha-silicon carbide ceramics were first fabricated by glass capsule HIP method using powder mixture of silicon carbide and aluminum nitride with ...
