Vacuum‐Formed Composites Based on a Polyolefin and a High Content of Biomass‐Waste Fillers
It is shown here that by the use of a very ductile polymer matrix, it is possible to vacuum‐form products that contain up to 25% of hard biofillers with still ductile properties. The results are promising and opens up for the use of engineered biocomposites derived from industrial side‐stream biofillers in vacuum‐formed products. A strategy to increase

Nitrate Contamination of Groundwater: Determinants and Indicators [PDF]
Nitrogen is an important input to agricultural production but also detrimentally affects the environmental quality of air, soil and water. Identifying the determinants of nitrate pollution and in turn defining sensible performance indicators to design ...

Performance Comparison of Surface Sensitizers for Diode Laser Powder Bed Fusion of Polyamide 12
Laser‐generated nanoparticles transform standard PA12 powders into high‐performance, dye‐free feedstocks for diode laser 3D printing. Despite identical absorbance at 808 nm, CuS, LaB6, and CB coatings reveal striking differences in fusion and strength—unlocking new design space for recyclable, industrial‐grade polymers.

What are the effects of climate change on agriculture in North East Central Europe? [PDF]
Global and climate changes influence the basic conditions for agriculture and so there is not only a demand for a consequent climate protection but also for an adaptation of agriculture to these global changing conditions.

Agronomical and environmental performances of organic farming in the Seine watershed, France [PDF]
This work suggests that Soil Surface Balance is a robust indicator to compare the performances of organic agriculture with those of conventional agriculture, even strictly following the rules of rational and optimised application of fertilisers.

Genetic covariance components for measures of nitrogen utilization in grazing dairy cows
: Improved nitrogen utilization of dairy production systems should improve not only the economic output of the systems but also the environmental metrics. One strategy to improve efficiency is through breeding programs. Improving a trait through breeding
