The strong Cu–O–Ni electronic interaction in the heterostructured catalyst can enhance the effective adsorption of NO3− and accelerate the in situ hydrolysis dissociation of the hydrogenation step. The Zn‐NO3 hybrid battery assembled with this catalyst achieves an open‐circuit voltage of 1.45 V, a peak power density of 6.47 mW cm−2, and can ...

TRIM40 Drives Pathological Cardiac Hypertrophy and Heart Failure via Ubiquitination of PKN2
This study identifies the E3 ligase TRIM40 as a key driver of pathological cardiac hypertrophy. TRIM40 binds PKN2 via its B‐box domain and, through its C29‐dependent catalytic activity, mediates K63‐linked ubiquitination of PKN2. This modification enhances PKN2 phosphorylation at Ser815, thereby driving hypertrophy.

Nitrogen fertilization and water pollution
In an irrigated agricultural system, the fate of nitrogen in the soil is inescapably linked to water management. This has been confirmed by recent U.C. research into the relationship between applied nitrogen, crop yield, and nitrogen pollution potential.

Metarhizium anisopliae alleviates the phytotoxic effects of polyethylene nanoplastics (NP) and lead (Pb) in rice by decreasing Pb uptake, restoring antioxidant and hormonal equilibrium, and promoting growth. Additionally, the fungus modifies the rhizosphere microbiota, enhancing both contaminant tolerance and plant growth, thereby effectively ...
