A dual‐timescale reservoir based on monolithically 3D (M3D)‐integrated CNT solid ion‐gated transistors is demonstrated. Tunable ionic dynamics and pulse‐engineered operation enable linear and symmetric synaptic updates. The M3D‐integrated array achieves robust temporal encoding and accurate classification of moving MNIST sequences, highlighting its ...

Diarrhoea and nitrogen oxides [PDF]
It is hypothesized that higher indoor nitrogen dioxide levels cause diarrhoea in infants and that this is the result of a direct action of oxides of nitrogen on the gut. This hypothesis is tested by reviewing the reported association between methaemoglobin and diarrhoea in children and two recent reports on indoor air and diarrhoea in infants.

The pamphlet explains the chemical qualities of oxides of nitrogen, sources of oxides of nitrogen emission, health and environmental effects, and monitoring trends. There is a brief summation about what is being done about oxides of nitrogen. The relationship between ozone and oxides of nitrogen is explained.

Abstract Evaporation of liquid nitrogen from the eye or skin may cause cold burns. It may displace oxygen, causing hypoxic asphyxia. Of the nitrogen oxides NO 2 is most toxic. Following exposure, effects in the peripheral airways and alveoli can be expected; clinical symptoms are usually absent during the first hours after exposure.

Dosimeter for oxides of nitrogen
American Industrial Hygiene Association Journal, 1976A simple, lightweight, prototype dosimeter, based on wet chemical principles, has been developed for personal monitoring of NO2. A simple modification provides for the determination of NOx. This device requires no auxiliary equipment and is intrinsically safe for use in coal mines.

Nitrogen oxide (NO) in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia
Bulletin of Experimental Biology and MedicineThe concentrations of nitric oxide (NO) donors in the plasma of pregnant women with preeclampsia is several times higher than in healthy pregnant women. Antihypertensive drugs acting not through the NO-mediated mechanisms normalized BP in some women with preeclampsia, but did not significantly reduce the levels of NO donors in the plasma.

The oxidation of Octopus vulgaris hemocyanin by nitrogen oxides
Biochemistry, 1989The reaction of Octopus vulgaris hemocyanin with nitrite was studied under a variety of conditions in which the green half-met derivative is formed. Analytical evidence shows that the amount of chemically detectable nitrite in various samples of the derivative is not proportional to the cupric copper detected by EPR.

Reduction of nitrogen oxide (NO2) to nitrogen oxide (NO) by rush and other plants
Environmental Science & Technology, 1986Previously the authors reported that rush carpets used in Japanese houses had the capacity to adsorb ambient NO/sub 2/ and the capacity endured for several years. The fate of adsorbed NO/sub 2/ was investigated in the present report. The outlet gas of a contacting tube packed with test material was monitored with a chemiluminescence analyzer for NO/sub

Oxidation of dialcoholcellulose with nitrogen oxides
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 19611. The oxidation with nitrogen oxides of primary hydroxyl groups in the openglucopyranoside ring of the cellulose macromolecule was investigated. The typical reaction of the oxidation of the primary hydroxyl groups in the anhydroglucose unit is inhibited to a considerable extent in open glucopyranoside rings. 2.
