Cascade‐Responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF Heterostructure Integrates Antioxidant Activity, Infection Control, and Vascularization for Tracheal Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cascade‐responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF/GelMA hydrogel is engineered as a “skeleton–backpack” platform for extensive tracheal repair. The MXene framework scavenges postoperative ROS and converts NIR light into mild hyperthermia, while the Cu‐MOF component provides pH/NIR‐responsive Cu2+ dosing for infection control, angiogenesis, and chondrogenesis.

Effect of inoculation and nitrogen top-dressing on yield and fodder value of winter pea in wheat mixture

open access: yesMljekarstvo, 2005
Two year field trials (1999-2001) were carried out to determin the effect of seed winter pea inoculation and nitrogen top-dressing on number and activity of pea root nodules and also on the green mass and dry matter yield of winter pea cv.

Bifunctional Artificial Enzymes‐Loaded Microgels With LOX‐ and CAT‐Like Activities for Metabolic Reprogramming and Scarless Wound Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bifunctional lactate oxidase‐like and catalase‐like artificial enzyme (Metazyme) is integrated into a rod‐shaped microgel (MetaRgel) to enable cascade lactate oxidation and oxygen regeneration. By reprogramming the wound metabolic microenvironment, MetaRgel alleviates excessive lactate accumulation, oxidative stress, hypoxia, and inflammation ...

Bench‐to‐Bedside Translation of Self‐Healing Colloidal Hydrogels as Next Generation Design of Flowable Hemostatic Matrix: From Preclinical Evaluation to Human Clinical Trials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Self‐healing materials represent a paradigm shift in designing functional biomedical devices for drug delivery, tissue regeneration, and 3D bioprinting. However, their clinical translation remains limited by challenges such as insufficient mechanical strength, potential cytotoxicity from chemical modifications, and complex activation ...

Correlation of the Amount of Nitrogen Accumulated in the Aboveground Biomass at Panicle Initiation and Nitrogen Content of Soil with the Nitrogen Uptake by Lowland Rice during the Period from Panicle Initiation to Heading

open access: yesPlant Production Science, 2003
To estimate the site-specific optimal amount of nitrogen (N) to be applied as top-dressing (N top-dressing) at panicle initiation, we examined the effects of the amount of N accumulated in the aboveground biomass at the panicle initiation stage (NJ, the ...
