UNSTABLE ANGINA TREATMENT IN VARIOUS PERIODS OF GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY
In 145 patients with unstable angina (UA) there was analized an efficiency of a drug therapy at different types of heliogeophysical activity (HA) during the 23th solar cycle. 83 patients were examined at the period of a lower HA (Kp-index 16,19±0,18),

Drug-drug interaction prediction based on co-medication patterns and graph matching [PDF]
Background: The problem of predicting whether a drug combination of arbitrary orders is likely to induce adverse drug reactions is considered in this manuscript. Methods: Novel kernels over drug combinations of arbitrary orders are developed within support vector machines for the prediction.

Abstract Aims Dapagliflozin (DAPA), a sodium‐glucose co‐transporter 2 inhibitor, has been shown to reduce cardiovascular mortality among patients with chronic heart failure. We aimed to evaluate the impact on a worsening renal function (WRF) by adding DAPA as compared to standard decongestive therapy with loop diuretics alone.

Abstract The ex‐utero intrapartum treatment (EXIT) procedure is a specialized delivery strategy that extends utero–placental–fetal circulation to convert a potential neonatal emergency condition into a condition that is compatible with postnatal life. Cesarean section with operation on placental support is an EXIT technique that requires a relatively ...

Drug Recommendation toward Safe Polypharmacy [PDF]
Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) induced from high-order drug-drug interactions (DDIs) due to polypharmacy represent a significant public health problem. In this paper, we formally formulate the to-avoid and safe (with respect to ADRs) drug recommendation problems when multiple drugs have been taken simultaneously.

Abstract Aim H+ facilitates metabolic blood flow regulation while negatively impacting cardiac contractility. Cardiovascular consequences of conjugate bases accumulating alongside H+ remain unclear. Here, we evaluate the cardiovascular effects of nine prominent carboxylates—particularly lactate, 3‐hydroxybutyrate, and butyrate—linked to metabolic and ...

On the Way to More Convenient Description of Drug-Plasma Protein Binding [PDF]
The theoretical case is considered where the total amount of plasma protein is conserved, but the drug is eliminated after its single application. After a single drug application at time t = 0, the total drug concentration is measured at times ti,...,tk and the total drug concentration at time ti is denoted by {\phi}i.

The 96 patients were randomly assigned to two groups: the Surgiflo Hemostatic Matrix (SHM) group and the non‐SHM group. The use of fluid gelatin effectively reduces intraoperative and postoperative bleeding without leading to additional complications.
