Phase Transformation Behavior of Continuously Cooled Fe–C–V–(Mo) Alloys
Additions of vanadium and molybdenum microalloying are shown to reshape phase transformations in clean low‐carbon steels. By tracking microstructural shifts during continuous cooling, the work uncovers the correlation between transformation kinetics, ferrite morphology, and hardness.

Finite temperature effects on the collapse of trapped Bose-Fermi mixtures
By using the self-consistent Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov-Popov theory, we present a detailed study of the mean-field stability of spherically trapped Bose-Fermi mixtures at finite temperature.

A double intercritical annealing strategy is proposed to tailor the multiphase microstructure and mechanical response of a medium‐Mn steel. The treatment produces an ultrafine mixture of ferrite, martensite and multiple austenite populations with graded thermal and mechanical stability, formed through austenite reversion and controlled retransformation.

Government Information Transparency [PDF]
This paper studies a model of announcements by a privately informed government about the future state of the economic activity in an economy subject to recurrent shocks and with distortions due to income taxation. Although transparent communication would

The site of synthesis of the iron-sulfur subunits of the flavoprotein and iron-protein fractions of human NADH dehydrogenase [PDF]
The site of synthesis of the iron-sulfur subunits of the flavoprotein and iron-protein fractions of the human respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase has been investigated to test the possibility that any of them is synthesized in mitochondria.

Paint baking of resistance spot welded joints of 2.0 GPa warm‐stamped medium‐Mn steel activates low‐temperature tempering, forming fine cementite in the fusion zone and enhancing toughness. Crack propagation resistance increases, shifting the failure mode from partial interfacial to complete pullout, with peak load and energy absorption rising ...

Non-Invasive Biomarkers and Breath Tests for Diagnosis and Monitoring of Chronic Liver Diseases
Background: Chronic liver disease (CLD) presents a significant global health burden, demanding effective tools for diagnosis and monitoring. Traditionally, liver biopsy has been the gold standard for evaluating liver fibrosis and other chronic liver ...

The high‐strain‐rate behavior of resistance spot‐welded DP800–DP1000 joints is investigated. Results show that microstructural gradients across BM–HAZ–FZ govern hardness, strain rate sensitivity, and failure modes. While strength increases with strain rate, energy absorption is controlled by ductility, with DP800–DP800 joints showing superior ...
