Accuracy of no-reference quality metrics in network-impaired video streams
The Video Quality Metric (VQM) is nowadays one of the most used objective methods to assess video quality, thanks to its high correlation with both the human visual system (HVS) and subjective methods. VQM is, however, not viable in real-time deployments

Application of a zwitterionic poly(sulfobetaine methacrylate) (PSB) coating to microelectrode arrays and Ag/AgCl reference electrodes effectively inhibits biofouling and structural degradation. This strategy successfully enables simultaneous, long‐term electrophysiological recording and dopamine sensing in freely behaving mice, facilitating ...

Blind image and video quality assessment using natural scene and motion models [PDF]
textWe tackle the problems of no-reference/blind image and video quality evaluation. The approach we take is that of modeling the statistical characteristics of natural images and videos, and utilizing deviations from those natural statistics as ...

Programmable Functional Silicification of DNA Origami Nanostructures
This work introduces additional functionality into silica‐coated DNA origami nanostructures using non‐standard silica precursors. A fluorescent precursor enables enhanced intracellular tracking, while a disulfide‐containing reagent yields redox‐responsive, degradable silica coatings.
