Roadside NO2/NOx and primary NO2 from individual vehicles

Atmospheric Environment, 2023
Traffic-derived nitrogen oxides (NOx) is a major component of kerbside pollution in large cities and represent an important source of exposure and health risk to urban populations, especially during the use of roadside pave-ments. The ratio of ambient NO2/NOx (xNO(2)) varies widely in urban environments, influenced by relative source strengths, but ...

Electronic Structure and Geometry of NO2+ and NO2−

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1969
The electronic structure of NO2+ and NO2− has been investigated as a function of angle by means of ab initio MO LCAO SCF wavefunctions. Atomic orbitals used in the basis set are close to free-atom Hartree–Fock solutions. Several excited states, in addition to the ground states, have been obtained for the two ions.

The HMO treatment of the ONO2, NNO2 and CNO2 groups

Tetrahedron, 1967
Abstract Parameters have been chosen for the coulomb and resonance integrals for the HMO treatment of the ONO 2 , NNO 2 and CNO 2 groups, which correctly predict values of the dipole moments of nitric esters, nitramines and aromatic C-nitro compounds.

Indoor NO2 pollution and personal exposure to NO2 in two areas with different outdoor NO2 pollution

Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, 1986
Indoor NO2 concentrations were measured in the kitchen, the living room and bedroom of 612 houses in two different areas in the Netherlands. In a group of housewives living in these homes, personal exposure to NO2 was measured. NO2 concentrations indoors were dependent on the presence or absence of (un)vented gas appliances.

NO2 (Untersalpetersäure)

1883
