Reservoir NO3− pollution and chemical weathering: by dual isotopes of δ15N-NO3−, δ18O-NO3− and geochemical constraints

Environmental Geochemistry and Health, 2022
Reservoir dams alter the nutrient composition and biogeochemical cycle. Thus, dual isotopes of δ18O-NO3- and δ15N-NO-3 and geochemical signatures were employed to study the NO3- pollution and chemical weathering in the Three Gorges Reservoir (TGR), China. This study found that the TGR dam alters the δ15N-NO3- composition and is enriched in the recharge

Viscosities of ternary systems Y(NO3)3+La(NO3)3+H2O, La(NO3)3+Ce(NO3)3+H2O, La(NO3)3+Nd(NO3)3+H2O and their binary subsystems at different temperatures

Journal of Rare Earths, 2012
Viscosities were measured for the ternary systems Y(NO3)3+La(NO3)3+H2O,La(NO3)3+Ce(NO3)3+H2O,and La(NO3)3+Nd(NO3)3+ H2O and their binary subsystems Y(NO3)3+H2O,La(NO3)3+H2O,Ce(NO3)3+H2O,and Nd(NO3)3+H2O at 293.15,298.15 and 308.15 K.The results were used to test the applicability of simple equations for the viscosity of the mixed solutions. The ...

Isomorphism in the (NH4)2Th(NO3)6-K2Th(NO3)6-Rb2Th(NO3)6 system

Russian Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2009
Syntheses were developed, and compounds of composition (NH4)2xK2yRb2zTh(NO3)6(x + y + z = 1) were prepared. These compounds were structurally studied using X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy. Incomplete miscibility in the solid phase of the title system was found, and the impossibility of existence of a hexanitratothorate complex in the (NH4)2Th(NO3)

NO3− ion dynamics in liquid 0.38Ca(NO3)2 · 0.62KNO3

Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 1995
Abstract Quasielastic neutron scattering experiments have been performed on the glass-forming nitrate liquid, 0.38Ca(NO3)2 · 0.62KNO3. The experiments were carried out using the medium resolution LAM-40 inverted geometry time of flight spectrometer installed at the neutron scattering facility KENS, KEK, Japan.

Interactions in the Quinary System H2O-Y(NO3)3-La(NO3)3-Pr(NO3)3-Nd(NO3)3 to Very High Concentrations

Journal of Solution Chemistry, 2007
Isopiestic measurements have been carried out for the quinary system H2O-Y(NO3)3-La(NO3)3-Pr(NO3)3-Nd(NO3)3 at 298.15 K to near saturation. The measurements can be represented within experimental uncertainty over the full concentration range by a modified Pitzer ion-interaction model extending to the C(3) term.

Low Temperature Thermal Conductivity of (NO3)2Ba, (NO3)2Sr and (NO3)2Pb Single Crystals

1976
In view to investigate the evolution of phonon-phonon interaction in this serie of isomorphous compounds, where anharmonicity is the largest for the Pb nitrate [1], the thermal conductivity K of single crystals has been measured between 1.5 and 300 K (from about ө/60 to 2 ө).The crystallographic cell of these cubic crystals contains 36 atoms [2], so ...

Die Kristallstruktur der isotypen Verbindungen KAg(NO3)2, NH4Ag(NO3)2 und RbAg(NO3)2

Monatshefte fr Chemie, 1980
KAg(NO3)2 crystallizes in space group P21/a-C2h5,a=13.953,b=4.955,c=8.220 A, β=97.76°,Z=4. X-ray intensities were collected with a two-circle diffractometer. The structure was solved by means of direct methods andFourier syntheses and was refined by the least squares method toR=0.034 with 1346 observed reflexions.∞1{Ag2(NO3)4}2−-chains run parallel toy
