Achieving High‐Density and Stress‐Resilient Maize Breeding Via Germplasm Innovation
Global population growth and climate change have exacerbated the global food crisis. This perspective presents a conceptual framework focusing on enhancing population advantages. Several novel breeding objectives are proposed to improve density tolerance and stress resistance for yield improvement.

The 3rd‐generation magnetic super‐stable mineralizer M‐MgAl‐700 features a core‐shell structure, strong superparamagnetism, large surface area, and abundant oxygen defects. It achieves exceptional Cd(II) and As(V) mineralization capacities, reducing both pollutants in co‐contaminated water and soil to meet national standards.

ABSTRACT Viruses often hijack host developmental programs to promote infection, but the mechanistic links between reproductive regulation and antiviral immunity remain incompletely understood. Here, we identify a virus‐triggered hierarchical degradation cascade that links antiviral immunity and fertility regulation in rice. We show that the rice grassy

Carbon and nitrogen stocks and organic fractions in areas under different land uses in the cerrado
The replacement of native vegetation with nonnative vegetation for different land uses, which is a consequence of the intensification and expansion of agricultural production, significantly alters the dynamics of soil organic fractions.

Minimum-tillage, mechanized sowing of pulses with two-wheel tractors
Pulse crops in Bangladesh are mainly low-input rainfed crops with broadcast sowing. Since the 1990s, rotary tillage two-wheel tractors (2WT) have largely replaced animal draft for crop establishment.
