This work provides a practical guide for neuroengineers to design advanced neural interfaces, embracing and tailoring the concept of functional disorder. By bridging 2D and 3D in vitro models, this work highlights how non‐periodic, spatially heterogeneous, multiscale nanotopography can enable more physiologically relevant platforms for studying neural ...

This work presents a magnetic‐bearing acoustic resonator that overcomes the thermodynamics limit of sound absorption. By introducing tunable negative stiffness, it achieves broadband low‐frequency absorption within a compact cavity, far exceeding the performance achievable by classic mass‐tuned designs.

Time-Cost-Error Trade-Off Relation in Thermodynamics: The Third Law and Beyond
Elucidating fundamental limitations inherent in physical systems is a central subject in physics. For important thermodynamic operations such as information erasure, cooling, and copying, resources like time and energetic cost must be expended to achieve

Gap‐Free Information Transfer in 4D‐STEM via Fusion of Complementary Scattering Channels
Fused Full‐Field STEM (FF‐STEM) is introduced as a 4D‐STEM imaging modality that combines direct ptychography with tilt‐corrected dark‐field reconstruction in a single acquisition. Fourier‐space fusion using Wiener‐type spectral weighting closes the low‐frequency contrast gap inherent to bright‐field methods, delivering gap‐free, dose‐efficient, near ...

Low‐dose electron holography is limited by shot noise, which buries weak phase signals. HoloDenoiser, a physics‐informed network that works simultaneously in the spatial and frequency domains, locates and protects the holographic sideband while suppressing noise in the hologram.

Foreign trade and grain prices in the Russian Empire. For or against the neoclassical theorems of trade? [PDF]
This paper deals with the problem of the influence of grain export from the Russian Empire on the domestic price on bread. The counterfactual model of Russian grain market development is proposed, in case if grain export is ceased. The authors refer to a wider range of issues, including not only grain export of Russia in the beginning of the last ...

Micro/Nanoscale Acoustic Manipulation: From Particle Control to Autonomous Microswimmers
This conceptual framework illustrates acoustic technology as a multifunctional platform enabling passive particle manipulation across scales and autonomous propulsion of microswimmers. ABSTRACT Acoustic manipulation and propulsion technologies have emerged as powerful platforms for micro/nanoscale control, enabled by their non‐contact operation, label ...

ABSTRACT Magnetic 2‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdW) materials have garnered tremendous attention. The vdW ferromagnet Fe5Ge1Te2 has a Curie temperature Tc of ≈ 270 K, which is tailorable by tuning the stoichiometry and the Fe deficiency to reach room temperature.

ABSTRACT The US hemp market is a new and nascent industry that has been devoid of research for about half a century. This study examined the effects of exogenous shock on price at each phase of the value chain—Farm (hemp biomass), and its impact on prices at other phases of the value chain—Intermediary Processor (crude cannabidiol hemp) and Final ...
