Abstract Twelve cases of coronary nodal rhythm are reported. Eleven patients were women. The administration of digitalis to one patient did not influence atrioventricular conduction, which was also unchanged by effective vagal stimulation in two others. Six patients had leftward deviation of the P axis.

Knowledge of clinical anatomy of these nodes and the lymphatic pathways is critical for assigning the correct N or M staging and to assess the treatment response.

Four patients with nodal angiomatosis were examined. Nodal angiomatosis consisted of a bengin vascular proliferation coincidentally encountered in lymph nodes that were removed for other reasons. Although the lesion is uncommon, it is important to distinguish nodal angiomatosis from primary Kaposi sarcoma of the lymph node.
