A Node-to-Node Location Verification Method

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2010
In this paper, we study the problem of location claim verification of a mobile node in a wireless network. Existing verification methods rely primarily on cooperative approaches, which require the cooperation of several detecting nodes for the verification of a location claim from a target node.

The morph node

Proceedings of the fifth symposium on Virtual reality modeling language (Web3D-VRML), 2000
We discuss potential and limitations of a Morph Node, inspired by the corresponding construct in Java3D. A Morph Node in Java3D interpolates vertex attributes among several homeomorphic geometries. This node is a promising candidate for the delivery of 3D animation in a very compact form. We review the state-of-the-art in Web 3D techniques with respect

No Nodes is Good Nodes

The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2006
here is undisputed great value in the accurate stagingof patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer, as stagingresults guide therapeutic, particularly multimodality, strategy planning. The article, “Intraoperative, radio-guided sentinel lymph node mapping in 110 non-smallcell lung cancer patients,” addresses the issues of oper-ative and pathologic staging ...

The nodes of Ranvier

Proceedings of the Royal Society of London. Series B - Biological Sciences, 1952
Abstract At a node of Ranvier the axon is reduced in diameter; on the largest mammalian fibres the reduction is to less than half of the internodal diameter. The axoplasm at the node has optical properties different from the internodal axoplasm, but there is no visible transverse boundary across it.
