Comparison of outcomes following lobectomy, segmentectomy, and wedge resection based on pathological subtyping in patients with pN0 invasive lung adenocarcinoma ≤1 cm

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 11, Issue 24, Page 4784-4795, December 2022., 2022
For patients with invasive adenocarcinoma 1cm in whom anatomical resection is not feasible, wedge resection could provide similar oncological effect when tumor is lepidic predominant or acinar predominant. Abstract Purpose We sought to analyze the prognostic significance of lung adenocarcinoma classification for patients with pathological N0 (pN0) lung

Nanoconfinement Engineering of Covalent Organic Frameworks in Polyamide Membranes for High‐Perselectivity Li+/Mg2+ Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A nanoconfinement strategy using porous COF layers is developed to regulate interfacial polymerization and prepare thin, uniform PA membranes. The COF layer provides confined spaces and abundant interaction sites, effectively controlling monomer distribution and reaction kinetics.

Superior Sodium Metal Anodes Enabled by 3D Hierarchical Metallic Scaffolds with Enhanced Sodiophilicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work develops a 3D conductive scaffold consisting of vertical crystalline TiO2 nanotube arrays embedded with ultrafine silver nanoparticles (denoted as Ag@TiO2 NTAs) with an ultrasonication‐assisted in situ deposition method for high‐performance Na metal batteries.

PDCD11 Stabilizes C‐MYC Oncoprotein by Hindering C‐MYC‐SKP2 Negative Feedback Loop to Facilitate Progression of p53‐Mutant Breast and Colon Malignancies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PDCD11 overexpression highly correlates to poor prognosis in p53‐mutant breast and colon cancers. Through interaction with C‐MYC in the nucleoplasm, PDCD11 hinders C‐MYC‐induced SKP2 from binding to the C‐MYC MB2 domain for ubiquitination, thereby stabilizing C‐MYC to drive tumor progression.
