Channel swapping of EEG signals for deep learning‐based seizure detection

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 60, Issue 14, July 2024.
We propose a sample enhancement method based on electroencephalogram (EEG) signal channel swapping. This method generates new EEG samples by exchanging EEG sequences from different channels, thereby expanding the training set and improving epilepsy detection accuracy in few‐shot scenarios. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of this method,

Heterogeneity‐oriented ensemble learning for rail monitoring based on vehicle‐body vibration

open access: yesComputer-Aided Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, Volume 39, Issue 12, Page 1766-1794, 15 June 2024.
Abstract In this study, railway vehicle‐body vibration was applied to rail detection for convenient sensor deployment and cost‐effectiveness. However, the waveform is difficult to analyze due to damping and interference. Data‐driven methods can help concatenate multidimensional signals and complex rail‐surface irregularities but are impressionably ...

A method for suspenders tension identification of bridges based on the spatio‐temporal correlation between the girder strain and suspenders tension

open access: yesComputer-Aided Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, Volume 39, Issue 11, Page 1641-1658, 1 June 2024.
Abstract In the actual structural health monitoring system of suspension bridges, only part of suspenders tension can be monitored, but not all the suspenders tension can be obtained. To solve this problem, a method for suspenders tension identification of bridges based on the spatio‐temporal correlation between the girder strain and suspenders tension
