Vibrations on pulse tube based Dry Dilution Refrigerators for low noise measurements
Dry Dilution Refrigerators (DDR) based on pulse tube cryo-coolers have started to replace Wet Dilution Refrigerators (WDR) due to the ease and low cost of operation.

Micro‐injection laser‐assisted bioprinting enables ultrafast and precise patterning of small endothelial cell spheroids by injecting a highly concentrated single‐cell suspension into GelMA/ColMA hydrogels. In co‐culture with fibroblasts, controlled pre‐vasculogenic network formation is obtained at microscale resolution.

Discovery of 28 pulsars using new techniques for sorting pulsar candidates
Modern pulsar surveys produce many millions of candidate pulsars, far more than can be individually inspected. Traditional methods for filtering these candidates, based upon the signal-to-noise ratio of the detection, cannot easily distinguish between ...

Bioprosthetic aortic valves have revolutionized the treatment of aortic stenosis, but their durability is limited by structural valve deterioration (SVD). This review focuses on the pericardial tissue at the heart of these valves, examining how its mechanical properties and calcification drive fatigue and failure.

The mechanics-modulated tunneling spectrum and low-pass effect of viscoelastic molecular monolayer
Understanding the force-induced conductance fluctuation in molecules is essential for building molecular devices with high stability. While stiffness of molecule is usually considered to be desirable for stable conductance, we demonstrate mechanical ...

Uncovering the Origin of Efficiency Roll‐Off in TADF OLEDs
OLEDs based on thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) materials often suffer from a severe drop in efficiency at high brightness levels. This work presents a technique to uncover the source of this efficiency drop, and quantifies the exciton‐exciton and exciton‐polaron annihilation processes responsible for efficiency losses in our TADF OLEDs ...
