Optimzation design of resonance changer for marine propulsion shafting in longitudinal vibration
[Objectives] The transmission path of the longitudinal vibration of propeller shafting can be changed and the base response attenuated via a Resonance Changer(RC)integrated in the thrust bearing, enabling the natural frequency of the shafting to be ...

Noise mechanisms in motorcycle helmet noise [PDF]
A unique set of results on the acoustics of motorcycle helmets has been gathered during road tests on a rider wearing a representative modern helmet. The data were collected during a study of the noise which can cause hearing damage and, possibly, distraction in riders.

A General Theory of Phase Noise in Electrical Oscillators
A general model is introduced which is capable of making accurate, quantitative predictions about the phase noise of different types of electrical oscillators by acknowledging the true periodically time-varying nature of all oscillators.

Performance analysis of control allocation using data‐driven integral quadratic constraints
Abstract A new method is presented for evaluating the performance of a nonlinear control allocation system within a linear control loop. To that end, a worst‐case gain analysis problem is formulated that can be readily solved by means of well‐established methods from robustness analysis using integral quadratic constraints (IQCs).
