3D-generalization of impulse noise removal method for video data processing [PDF]

open access: diamondКомпьютерная оптика, 2020
The paper proposes a generalized method of adaptive median impulse noise filtering for video data processing. The method is based on the combined use of iterative processing and transformation of the result of median filtering based on the Lorentz ...

Noise-Aware Video Saliency Prediction

open access: greenProceedings of the British Machine Vision Conference 2021, 2021
We tackle the problem of predicting saliency maps for videos of dynamic scenes. We note that the accuracy of the maps reconstructed from the gaze data of a fixed number of observers varies with the frame, as it depends on the content of the scene. This issue is particularly pressing when a limited number of observers are available.

Correlation Noise Estimation in Distributed Video Coding [PDF]

open access: hybrid, 2011
Video compression is achieved by exploiting spatial and temporal correlations in the frame sequence. A frame is typically predicted by the encoder from previously coded information (such as blocks and/or frames), and the residual between the frame and its prediction is entropy coded.

Green noise video halftoning

open access: yes2014 19th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing, 2014
Video halftoning is a technology used to render a video onto a display device that can only display limited number of levels. Conventional video halftoning algorithms produce blue noise video halftones which are prone to flickering. Dedicated deflickering processes are hence required to reduce flickering.

TRIP: Temporal Residual Learning with Image Noise Prior for Image-to-Video Diffusion Models [PDF]

open access: greenComputer Vision and Pattern Recognition
Recent advances in text-to- video generation have demonstrated the utility of powerful diffusion models. Nev-ertheless, the problem is not trivial when shaping diffusion models to animate static image (i.e., image-to-video generation).

Video Noise Reduction Method Using Adaptive Spatial-Temporal Filtering [PDF]

open access: goldDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2015
We proposed a novel method of video noise reduction based on the spatial Wiener filter and the temporal filter. In the proposed spatial Wiener filter, both the amount of noise and the size of the mask are taken into consideration.

Go-with-the-Flow: Motion-Controllable Video Diffusion Models Using Real-Time Warped Noise [PDF]

open access: greenComputer Vision and Pattern Recognition
Generative modeling aims to transform random noise into structured outputs. In this work, we enhance video diffusion models by allowing motion control via structured latent noise sampling.

RAVE: Randomized Noise Shuffling for Fast and Consistent Video Editing with Diffusion Models [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2023
Recent advancements in diffusion-based models have demonstrated significant success in generating images from text. However, video editing models have not yet reached the same level of visual quality and user control.
