Algoritma Penyisipan Frame untuk Peningkatan Akurasi Metode Aligned Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio dalam Pengukuran Kualitas Video

open access: yesJurnal Komputer Terapan, 2015

BEST FIT MODELS TEST FOR THE VIRTUAL CHANNEL IN DISTRIBUTED VIDEO CODING [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science and Technology, 2011
Wyner-Ziv (WZ) video coding – a particular case of distributed video coding (DVC) – is a new video coding paradigm based on two major Information Theory results: the Slepian-Wolf and Wyner-Ziv theorems.

Flexible Selenium Nanowires with Tuneable Electronic Bandgaps

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Nanotubes serve as effective test tubes for selenium nanowires, as their diameter precisely controls the width of the nanowires and the Se─Se bonding, resulting in a variety of different structures. An electron beam can be used to modify the nanotubes, allowing real‐time observation of the nanowire extrusion process. Additionally, optically transparent

Training-free Guidance in Text-to-Video Generation via Multimodal Planning and Structured Noise Initialization [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Recent advancements in text-to-video (T2V) diffusion models have significantly enhanced the visual quality of the generated videos. However, even recent T2V models find it challenging to follow text descriptions accurately, especially when the prompt requires accurate control of spatial layouts or object trajectories.

Three dimensional block-matching video denoising algorithm based on dual-domain filtering

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2015
The dual-domain filtering was used to remove the video noise combining with three dimensional block-matching.The correlation of time-space domain for the video sequence was fully considered. The noisy image was replaced by the result of wavelet ...

Thermally Activated Swelling and Wetting Transition of Frozen Polymer Brushes:a New Concept for Surface Functionalization

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A novel approach is introduced that leverages polymer phase transitions to modulate brush behavior. The oleophilic bottle brush system exhibits two distinct melting transitions—bulk and surface—enabling a two‐stage swelling and wetting transition.

MULDE: Multiscale Log-Density Estimation via Denoising Score Matching for Video Anomaly Detection [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We propose a novel approach to video anomaly detection: we treat feature vectors extracted from videos as realizations of a random variable with a fixed distribution and model this distribution with a neural network. This lets us estimate the likelihood of test videos and detect video anomalies by thresholding the likelihood estimates.

3D Printing of Auxetic Self‐powered Mechanoluminescent Photonic Skins for Underwater Communication and Safety Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed self‐powered auxetic mechanoluminescent photonic skin for underwater communication and safety monitoring is introduced. Its auxetic structures, with a negative Poisson's ratio, ensure exceptional conformability to curved surfaces, enhancing adaptability to dynamic underwater environments.

Comparative Approach to De-Noising TEMPEST Video Frames

open access: yesSensors
Analysis of unintended compromising emissions from Video Display Units (VDUs) is an important topic in research communities. This paper examines the feasibility of recovering the information displayed on the monitor from reconstructed video frames. The study holds particular significance for our understanding of security vulnerabilities associated with
