Noise-Aware Video Saliency Prediction [PDF]

open access: greenProceedings of the British Machine Vision Conference 2021, 2021
We tackle the problem of predicting saliency maps for videos of dynamic scenes. We note that the accuracy of the maps reconstructed from the gaze data of a fixed number of observers varies with the frame, as it depends on the content of the scene. This issue is particularly pressing when a limited number of observers are available.

Video coding technique with a parametric modelling of noise [PDF]

open access: bronzeOpto-Electronics Review, 2019
This paper presents a video encoding method in which noise is encoded using a novel parametric model representing spectral envelope and spatial distribution of energy. The proposed method has been experimentally assessed using video test sequences in a practical setup consisting of a simple, real-time noise reduction technique and High Efficiency Video

DNI: Dilutional Noise Initialization for Diffusion Video Editing [PDF]

open access: green
Text-based diffusion video editing systems have been successful in performing edits with high fidelity and textual alignment. However, this success is limited to rigid-type editing such as style transfer and object overlay, while preserving the original structure of the input video.

Video De-Noising Using Fuzzy Technique [PDF]

open access: diamondAmerican Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2013
The recent advances in representations of video have achieved outstanding de-noising results, but removing real, structured noise in digital videos remains a challenging problem. In video de-noising the goal of proposed algorithm is to achieve an efficient, adaptive and high-quality video de-noising algorithm.

THE MANAGEMENT AND REDUCTION OF DIGITAL NOISE IN VIDEO IMAGE PROCESSING BY USING TRANSMISSION BASED NOISE ELIMINATION SCHEME

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Image and Video Processing, 2022
Digital noise is an image defect that is approximately close to the pixel size and differs in brightness or color from the original image. Noise reduction plays an important role in the transmission, processing and compression of video footage and images.

Noise-Resistant Video Channel Identification

open access: yesSecurity and Communication Networks, 2022
As the video streaming traffic grows exponentially nowadays, variable bitrate (VBR) encoding has been widely utilized by modern live video streaming service providers, such as YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch. However, video bitrate can be a delicate fingerprint of the video streaming, leading to risks of privacy leakage.
