Video coding technique with parametric modeling of noise [PDF]
This paper presents a video encoding method in which noise is encoded using a novel parametric model representing spectral envelope and spatial distribution of energy. The proposed method has been experimentally assessed using video test sequences in a practical setup consisting of a simple, real-time noise reduction technique and High Efficiency Video

Correlation Noise Estimation in Distributed Video Coding [PDF]
Video compression is achieved by exploiting spatial and temporal correlations in the frame sequence. A frame is typically predicted by the encoder from previously coded information (such as blocks and/or frames), and the residual between the frame and its prediction is entropy coded.

Noise-Aware Video Saliency Prediction
We tackle the problem of predicting saliency maps for videos of dynamic scenes. We note that the accuracy of the maps reconstructed from the gaze data of a fixed number of observers varies with the frame, as it depends on the content of the scene. This issue is particularly pressing when a limited number of observers are available.

High-Precision Dynamic Traffic Noise Mapping Based on Road Surveillance Video
High-precision dynamic traffic noise maps can describe the spatial and temporal distributions of noise and are necessary for actual noise prevention. Existing monitoring point-based methods suffer from limited spatial adaptability, and prediction model ...
