Cardiac‐Derived ECM Microspheres for Enhanced hiPSC‐CMs Maturation
Cardiac extracellular matrix microspheres derived from decellularized porcine heart provide a biomimetic 3D microenvironment for human induced pluripotent stem cell–derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC‐CMs). This platform supports short‐ and long‐term culture, enhances structural organization, and promotes electrophysiological and functional maturation of ...

"Kludge" gravitational waveforms for a test-body orbiting a Kerr black hole [PDF]
One of the most exciting potential sources of gravitational waves for low-frequency, space-based gravitational wave (GW) detectors such as the proposed Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) is the inspiral of compact objects into massive black holes ...

Full Waveform Ambient Noise Inversion
This thesis deals with the development and application of a novel method for seismic interferometry, referred to as full waveform ambient noise inversion. It incorporates the heterogeneous nature of ambient noise sources in space and frequency, and models the full wave propagation physics.

Waveform symmetry properties and phase noise inoscillators
The authors formalise and expand an empirically observed waveform symmetry condition which minimises the transformation of low-frequency noise into the close-in phase noise spectrum of an electrical oscillator. The result provides an insight into the impact of waveform symmetry on the phase noise performance of electrical oscillators.

MIMO Radar Imaging Method with Non-Orthogonal Waveforms Based on Deep Learning
Transmitting orthogonal waveforms are the basis for giving full play to the advantages of MIMO radar imaging technology, but the commonly used waveforms with the same frequency cannot meet the orthogonality requirement, resulting in serious coupling ...

Gourd‐Inspired Design of Unit Cell with Multiple Gradients for Physiological‐Range Pressure Sensing
Gourd‐shaped micro‐dome arrays with coordinated modulus, conductivity, and geometric gradients co‐optimize sensitivity and linearity in piezoresistive tactile sensors. Under pressure, a solid upper dome embeds into a porous lower dome, triggering rapid contact‐area growth and series‐to‐parallel conduction, enabling unsaturated, intensity‐resolved ...

A comparison of methods for gravitational wave burst searches from LIGO and Virgo [PDF]
The search procedure for burst gravitational waves has been studied using 24 hours of simulated data in a network of three interferometers (Hanford 4-km, Livingston 4-km and Virgo 3-km are the example interferometers).

By mimicking the ion‐accelerating effect of ion channel receptors in neuron membranes, a biomaterials‐based ionic hydrogel (BIH) is developed, which offers a high ionic conductivity of 7.04 S m−1, outperforming conventional chitosan, cellulose, agarose, starch, and gelatin based ionic hydrogels.
