OTFS Waveform with Phase Noise in sub-THz
The availability of large bandwidths in the sub-THz bands appears to be a solution for increasing the capabilities of future wireless communication technologies. However, phase noise (PN) generated by oscillators in this band generates significant signal distortion which need to be addressed. In this paper, we study the impact of PN on OTFS. We propose

This study establishes a materials‐driven framework for entropy generation within standard CMOS technology. By electrically rebalancing gate‐oxide traps and Si‐channel defects in foundry‐fabricated FDSOI transistors, the work realizes in‐materia control of temporal correlation – achieving task adaptive entropy optimization for reinforcement learning ...

Noise Detection in Electrocardiogram Signals for Intensive Care Unit Patients
Long-term electrocardiogram (ECG) signals recorded in an intensive care unit (ICU) are often corrupted by severe motion and noise artifacts (MNA), which may lead to many false alarms, including inaccurate detection of atrial fibrillation (AF).

Gravitational Wave Burst Source Direction Estimation using Time and Amplitude Information [PDF]
In this article we study two problems that arise when using timing and amplitude estimates from a network of interferometers (IFOs) to evaluate the direction of an incident gravitational wave burst (GWB).

Full Waveform Ambient Noise Inversion
This thesis deals with the development and application of a novel method for seismic interferometry, referred to as full waveform ambient noise inversion. It incorporates the heterogeneous nature of ambient noise sources in space and frequency, and models the full wave propagation physics.

Waveform symmetry properties and phase noise inoscillators
The authors formalise and expand an empirically observed waveform symmetry condition which minimises the transformation of low-frequency noise into the close-in phase noise spectrum of an electrical oscillator. The result provides an insight into the impact of waveform symmetry on the phase noise performance of electrical oscillators.

LISA capture sources: Approximate waveforms, signal-to-noise ratios, and parameter estimation accuracy [PDF]
Captures of stellar-mass compact objects (COs) by massive ($\sim 10^6 M_\odot$) black holes (MBHs) are potentially an important source for LISA, the proposed space-based gravitational-wave (GW) detector.

Rational halogen mixing strategy was employed to shift the bandgap of Cs2PbBr2I2 from ultraviolet to visible region, enabling first realization of a visible‐light photodetector with this 2D layered Ruddlesden‐Popper perovskite material. Under illumination, light‐induced internal field forms and drives trap‐mediated persistent photoconductivity ...
