Design optimization of noiseless feedback amplifier
1999 IEEE MTT-S International Topical Symposium on Technologies for Wireless Applications (Cat. No. 99TH8390), 1999One of the challenges in noiseless feedback amplifier (NFAs) design is to optimize the RF transformer that is required to provide proper feedback with minimum loss. Because of inherent parasitics associated with RF transformers and insufficient design guidelines, the design of NFAs and their transformers has been a difficult and time-consuming process ...

Recovery Times of Decision Feedback Equalizers on Noiseless Channels
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1987The performance of decision feedback equalizers (DFE's) working on a noiseless channel with correct tap weights is studied. We show that the space of channel parameters can accordingly be partitioned into a finite number of sets. The error recovery performance of a DFE is the same for all DFE's within one such set, and is determinable.

Sequential transmission using noiseless feedback
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1963The presence of a feedback channel makes possible a variety of sequential transmission procedures, each of which can be classified as either a block-transmission or a continuous-transmission scheme according to the way in which information is encoded for transmission over a noisy forward channel.
