A Proof of Principle for the Phase‐Dependent Electrocatalytic Activity of NiTi Shape Memory Alloys for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction

We compare martensitic (Ni50Ti50) and austenitic (Ni51.2Ti48.8) NiTi shape memory alloys at room temperature as oxygen evolution reaction (OER) anodes, demonstrating that phase‐dependent microstructure governs electronic conductivity, surface roughness, and wettability.
