Prospective Trial of a Novel Nomogram to Achieve Updated Vancomycin Trough Concentrations

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Perspectives on Infectious Diseases, 2013
Purpose. To determine if the use of a novel vancomycin nomogram predicts dosing regimens that achieve target trough concentrations equal to or more accurate than dosing regimens calculated using traditional pharmacokinetic calculations, evaluate the ...

Entropic Nomogram

open access: yesVestnik Volgogradskogo gosudarstvennogo universiteta. Serija 10. Innovatcionnaia deiatel’nost’, 2014
The concept of entropy spatial-energy interactions is used to reflect the similar views on the statistical thermodynamics of entropy. The resulting nomogram is obtained for estimating the entropy of various processes. The authors discuss the variety of manifestations of entropy, including the biochemical processes in the economy.

Albumin‐Bilirubin Score as a Novel Prognostic Prediction Tool for Surgically Treated Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesThe Kaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We investigated the prognostic significance of the preoperative albumin‐bilirubin (ALBI) score in surgically treated head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). This retrospective study included 663 patients who underwent radical surgery between 2007 and 2017.

Clinical and pathological characteristics of and predictive model for colorectal neuroendocrine tumors

open access: yesHeliyon
Background: The incidence of colorectal neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) is increasing, causing a social burden. At present, there is no specific prognostic model for colorectal NETs.

Multimodal Risk-Adapted Treatment in Surgical Patients With Synovial Sarcoma: A Preoperative Nomogram-Guided Adjuvant Treatment Strategy

open access: yesFrontiers in Surgery, 2020
Background: Synovial sarcoma is characterized by heterogeneous clinical manifestations, making it difficult to evaluate individual patients' prognoses and design personal treatment schemes.

Validation of nomogram-revised risk index and comparison with other models for extranodal nasal-type NK/T-cell lymphoma in the modern chemotherapy era: indication for prognostication and clinical decision-making

open access: yesLeukemia, 2020
Derived from our original nomogram study by using the risk variables from multivariable analyses in the derivation cohort of 1383 patients with extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, nasal-type (ENKTCL) who were mostly treated with anthracycline-based ...

Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Analysis Reveals Epithelial‐Mesenchymal Transition and Key Gene AGRN as a Universal Programme in Gastrointestinal Tumours by an Artificial Intelligence‐Derived Prognostic Index

open access: yesMed Research, EarlyView.
Intra‐tumour heterogeneity is present in gastrointestinal tumours at the single‐cell level. Cell cycling, EMT, MYC and TNF‐α are the four main consensus meta‐programs in gastrointestinal tumours. Then, a prognostic model based on intratumoral heterogeneity was constructed using an artificial intelligence‐derived prognostic index.

DNA methylation profiling to predict recurrence risk in meningioma: development and validation of a nomogram to optimize clinical management.

open access: yesNeuro-Oncology, 2019
BACKGROUND Variability in standard-of-care classifications precludes accurate predictions of early tumor recurrence for individual patients with meningioma, limiting the appropriate selection of patients who would benefit from adjuvant radiotherapy to ...

Development and Validation of a Consensus Machine Learning–Derived Signature to Predict Survival and Treatment Benefits in Breast Cancer

open access: yesMedicine Advances, EarlyView.
The consensus machine learning–derived prognostic signature (CMDPS) was developed by integrating 10 independent breast cancer cohorts and 76 algorithm combinations, which identified 19 robust survival‐associated genes. The CMDPS demonstrated superior prognostic performance compared to clinical features and 62 published transcriptome signatures ...

Which Patients With Dysfunctional Voiding Respond Well to Sacral Neuromodulation? ICI‐RS 2025

open access: yesNeurourology and Urodynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aims Dysfunctional voiding (DV) is characterised by fluctuating or intermittent urinary flow during voiding in neurologically normal individuals. Given the different definitions used and heterogeneous pathophysiologies, outcomes following sacral neuromodulation/sacral nerve stimulation (SNM/SNS) are variably reported.
